We tested the latest version 1.2.0 of Amolto Call Recorder with Windows 8 and Skype 6.0 for Windows Desktop. No problems were detected, the recorder works fine as expected. Amolto Call Recorder is compatible with Skype for Windows 8 Desktop! An additional step is required during installation on Windows 8. The installer will ask for permission to install the previous version of .NET Framework 3.5 from Microsoft. It is absolutely safe to install as it will not interfere with latest versions of the .NET Framework coming by default with Windows 8.
